Serge Lesage rugs are made entirely by hand, from design development to the final finishing touches. Traditional craft techniques are used in production, including hand-knotting, hand-weaving and hand-tufting. The handmade process, carefully selected materials and high rug density help preserve the beauty of the pattern, the shape and the expressive texture for many years.

Each rug can be treated with Texguard protective treatment on request. This treatment helps protect the surface from water, oil and stains of various origins, such as coffee, wine, tea and everyday dirt. It is especially practical for light-coloured rugs and interiors where both beauty and ease of care matter. However, protective treatment does not replace proper maintenance. If a stain appears, it is important to act quickly: gently blot the area with a clean white cloth or paper towel and avoid rubbing the pile.

Many Serge Lesage models can be ordered in custom sizes, shapes and colours. This is a good choice when a standard size does not suit the space or when the rug needs to fit the interior perfectly. Custom production takes more time, but the result is often worth the wait: the rug becomes not just a decorative element, but an integral part of the interior project.
