Wallpaper Watercolor Checks 290-1

Watercolor Checks 290-1 is a watercolour check in white and pink with soft, slightly uneven lines. The pattern is quiet and works both in a child's room and as a background that ties rooms together.

The repeat is 26.5 cm, so the check comes round often and the joins between lengths disappear into the pattern. The squares are drawn by hand, which keeps the surface from looking machine even.

Enzo is the children's collection in the dandino range from ICH Wallcoverings, where drawn animals and simple motifs are matched with stripes, checks and spots so that the walls of one room can be put together as a set. The paper is non woven, carries the ECO label and is of the Easy Up type: the paste goes onto the wall rather than onto the paper, and a dry length can still be slid into place. The roll measures 53 cm x 10.05 m with a 26.5 cm repeat and a straight match, so the pattern joins at the same height.

The surface is washable, so fingerprints and marks come off with a damp cloth. Light fastness is very good and a sunny wall keeps its colour. The fire class is B-s1,d0. When the room is redone later, the old length strips off dry in one piece and the wall needs no new filling.
