Wallpaper Stained Glass Stripe MG56693

Stained Glass Stripe MG56693 builds a vertical pattern from small green and blue tiles, with something of a stained glass window about it. The dense print gives the wall depth without taking over the room.

Stained Glass Stripe is laid out from small coloured tiles that form vertical rows like a leaded window. The repeat is only 8.8 cm, so the joins between lengths disappear on the wall.

Mika is the children's collection from ICH Wallcoverings, where watercolour animals and landscapes are matched with quiet stripes, textures and plain companions so that the walls of one room can be put together as a set. The paper is non woven and of the Easy Up type: the paste goes onto the wall rather than onto the paper, and a dry length can still be slid into place. The roll measures 53 cm × 10.05 m with a 8.8 cm repeat and a straight match, so the pattern joins at the same height on every length.

The surface is washable, so fingerprints and marks come off with a damp cloth. Lightfastness is very good, which means a sunny wall will not fade quickly. When the room is redone, the old covering comes away dry in one piece and the wall underneath needs no fresh filling.
