Wallpaper Ondine 99580

Ondine 99580 is a deep petrol and emerald tone against which the gold stripes come through at full strength. The most dramatic version in the range, and meant for one wall rather than a whole room.

Ondine is an animal stripe in ikat technique: broad stripes are printed as though woven in, the edges blur and the sheen runs down along each stripe. The pattern is bold, yet the soft transitions keep the wall from turning restless.

Lustro is a Holden Decor collection built around light: pearlescent inks, a glass bead surface and velvety flock printing shift the shade of the wall depending on where the light falls. The base is non-woven and the paper is Easy Up, so the paste goes on the wall rather than on the roll. A roll measures 53 cm × 10.05 m, the pattern repeat is 64 cm and lengths are hung with a 32 cm offset.

While it is being hung the surface takes a damp cloth, so paste marks can be wiped off straight away. Lightfastness is very good, and the old covering later strips off the wall dry and in one piece, with no need to skim the surface again.
