Wallpaper Mika Spike M1803-2

Mika Spike M1803-2 repeats the herringbone in dusty pink. A soft pink without flowers or figures works for a toddler and for an older child alike.

Mika Spike imitates cloth: fine strokes form a herringbone that runs up the wall. The scale is small enough that the wall looks plain from across the room and shows its weave only up close.

Mika is the children's collection from ICH Wallcoverings, where watercolour animals and landscapes are matched with quiet stripes, textures and plain companions so that the walls of one room can be put together as a set. The paper is non woven and of the Easy Up type: the paste goes onto the wall rather than onto the paper, and a dry length can still be slid into place. The roll measures 53 cm × 10.05 m. The pattern needs no matching between lengths, which keeps cutting simple and waste low.

The surface is washable, so fingerprints and marks come off with a damp cloth. Lightfastness is very good, which means a sunny wall will not fade quickly. When the room is redone, the old covering comes away dry in one piece and the wall underneath needs no fresh filling.
