Wallpaper Fruit Trees 975-1

Fruit Trees 975-1 shows the orchard in beige and sand, with the apples and pears only a shade deeper than the foliage. It is a calm pattern that can cover a whole room and sits easily with white or natural wood furniture.

Fruit Trees is a watercolour orchard: apple, pear and lemon trees standing in rows, each with its own crown and its own fruit. The heights vary, so the wall gives the feeling of a whole garden even though the pattern repeats.

Mika is the children's collection from ICH Wallcoverings, where watercolour animals and landscapes are matched with quiet stripes, textures and plain companions so that the walls of one room can be put together as a set. The paper is non woven and of the Easy Up type: the paste goes onto the wall rather than onto the paper, and a dry length can still be slid into place. The roll measures 53 cm × 10.05 m with a 53 cm repeat and a straight match, so the pattern joins at the same height on every length.

The surface is washable, so fingerprints and marks come off with a damp cloth. Lightfastness is very good, which means a sunny wall will not fade quickly. When the room is redone, the old covering comes away dry in one piece and the wall underneath needs no fresh filling.
