Mural Forest Mural 980-1

Forest Mural 980-1 is the evening meadow: a sky moving from deep blue into green, a sleeping moon, birds and butterflies, and a dense band of grass and flowers along the bottom. The wall reads like a picture looked at before sleep and belongs behind a bed.

Forest Mural is a meadow the width of the wall: dense grass, flowers, butterflies and insects along the bottom, open sky with flying birds above. The planting is painted in watercolour and stays visible above the furniture even with a bed against the wall.

Mika is the children's collection from ICH Wallcoverings, where watercolour animals and landscapes are matched with quiet stripes, textures and plain companions so that the walls of one room can be put together as a set. The mural is non woven and the paste goes onto the wall. The finished picture is 318 cm wide and 275 cm high and is made up of six lengths of 53 cm. The design is repeatable: two sets side by side carry the picture on without a break, which allows a longer wall to be covered.

The surface is washable, so fingerprints and marks come off with a damp cloth. Lightfastness is very good, which means a sunny wall will not fade quickly. When the room is redone, the old covering comes away dry in one piece and the wall underneath needs no fresh filling.
